The name and over abundance of white on the armor may be a nod to Storm Troopers from Star Wars, possibly referencing their older era armor. It makes heavy use of a neon color that is common for that look. This interesting looking set gives off a lot of “80’s Futuristic” vibes, very likely a nod to that aesthetic. It’s often a high-tier set of armor that you can’t get until later in the game, and the same remains true with its collectible counterpart.
